Chimney connector made of chamotte 120mm to 250mm

The chamotte connection socket is used to create a new connection on your existing 3-layer chimney.

Length: approx. 85 mm (attachment length in installed condition)

Procedure:

• Cut the outer brick with a cutting disc
• Size of this cutout = chamotte connection socket – pipe + 2 cm
• Remove insulation
• Drill the chamotte pipe column to the clear dimension of the chamotte connection socket – pipe using a core drill, or perforate with a carbide drill (turn off hammer drill function)
• Glue the connection piece pipe with acid putty
• Fill the joint between the outer brick and the connection piece pipe with mineral wool
  

For a 180 mm connection socket, the following dimensions apply:

• Inner diameter: approx. 18 cm
• Outer diameter: approx. 22 cm
• Wall thickness: approx. 2 cm
• Total length: approx. 15 cm
• Length of socket alone: approx. 8.5 cm

For a 120 mm connection socket, the following dimensions apply:

• Inner diameter: approx. 12 cm
• Outer diameter: approx. 15 cm
• Wall thickness: approx. 1.5 cm
• Total length: approx. 14 cm
• Length of socket alone: approx. 8.5 cm
