With this oven clay you have everything you need! It is mixed ready for use, all you need is water. If it becomes hard after a while, just add more water and mix vigorously.

The clay mortar only sets ceramically, which means you have a long processing time.

This means that the oven clay only finally solidifies when you slowly heat it up.

The oven clay is of course versatile. It is the ideal mortar for gluing plaster covers or cleaning tiles, because it never gets really hot in the flues of the tiled stove, so the clay plaster never really sets.

It becomes just firm enough that everything is tight and holds together.

It can then be easily removed again, compared to other fireclay mortars, without breaking the tile or the plaster cover.

In this way, you or your chimney sweep can remove soot from all flues and thus ensure a long service life for your stove system.
