Pipe insulation shell made of rock wool for aluminum-laminated stove pipes of various diameters
Pipe insulation shell made of rock wool for aluminum-laminated stove pipes of various diameters
The pipe insulation shell is used for thermal insulation of exhaust pipes with a maximum operating temperature of 400 °C. The lamination itself may reach a maximum temperature of 80 °C.
The pipe insulation shell is used to insulate the stove pipes. It is made of concentrically wound rock wool (mineral wool) and covered with a grid-reinforced, tear-resistant aluminum foil. To make installation easier or for subsequent assembly, the pipe insulation was slit along the side, the inner formwork was sawn and an adhesive fastener (ideally pointing downwards) was provided.
Ideally, the pipe insulation is placed over unpainted stove pipes.
