Self-adhesive sealing cord oven flat 08x2mm (glass tube)

Fireproof flat gasket, sealing cord 8 × 2 mm for your oven or fireplace for gluing into oven or fireplace doors or for sealing glass ceramic panes. This black fireproof sealing cord is based on E-glass fiber and is therefore heat-resistant and long-lasting.

This seal is slightly stiffer than other seals. One reason is that it is made as a glass tube. This sealing tube is compressed and you have therefore installed a double layer of sealing tape. Ideal for sealing between the frame and the glass ceramic pane on stoves and fireplace and heating inserts.

Application temperature up to 550 °C

Dimensions: 8mm wide, 2mm thick

Make sure that the fireproof sealing cord is always elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The chimney disc then sits firmly on the stove body and can no longer expand due to the temperature differences. In the worst case, the window will burst. Here the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you don't need sealing cord glue.

Clean the surface of old sealing cord residue and glue in advance. Cut the oven seal to size and then press it into place. You can heat safely and carefree again straight away.
