Self-adhesive sealing cord oven flat 16x2mm glass tube

Fireproof flat seal, sealing cord 16 x 2 mm for your stove or fireplace to glue into stove or fireplace doors or to seal glass ceramic panes. This sealing cord is based on E-glass fiber and is woven very firmly and stably. It is designed as a glass tube.

Make sure that the fireproof sealing cord is always elastic. Over time, the seal can harden. The fireplace pane then sits firmly on the stove body and can no longer expand due to the temperature differences. In the worst case, the pane will burst. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need sealing cord adhesive if the seal is clamped or otherwise fixed. The self-adhesive property makes it easy and simple to work with. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the binding components in the adhesive film decompose at temperatures of around 80 °C to 100 °C.

First, clean the surface of any old sealing cord and adhesive. Cut the oven seal to size and then press it into place. You can heat again safely and without worry straight away.
