A characteristic feature of sight glasses/glass ceramic panes is their very low expansion at different temperatures. Glass ceramic is therefore installed in the oven or fireplace because it can withstand the large temperature differences.

Change the corresponding seal with the sight glass/glass pane on the chimney. A sealing cord also wears out. If it is old and hard, the glass may crack.

This sight glass is also suitable for use in heat areas (pellet boilers, oil boilers, kilns).
